DPS sponsored the inaugural Best Buddies Hamptons Beach Bash at the home of Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney (TCSC Members) in Watermill, NY on Thursday, August 14th. Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,400 middle school, high school, and college campuses worldwide.

DPS took part in the world’s greatest aviation celebration held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; The Experimental Aircraft Association’s Fly-In Convention (EAA Air Venture) on the week of July 28th- August 3rd. A week of awe-inspiring airshow stunts, showcases in the latest aircraft and innovations, and over 500 forums and workshops ended with The Gathering of Eagles dinner on Thursday, July 31st.

Snake River Sporting Club is featured on WorldGolf.com! Vagabond Golf blogger, Joel Zuckerman, was treated to a round of golf on The Snake with Matt Fawkes. Zuckerman was so impressed with the course that he wrote about his experience on the noted golf site, WorldGolf.com.

A short 10 minute drive from Snake River Sporting Club is one of Jackson Hole’s best paragliding sites calledBeaver Mountain which has a perfect west facing orientation for flying in the evenings. For people who are not afraid of rolling the dice on a work reward ratio, the hike to launch is worth ever drop of sweat; just ask Bernie.
